Cookies Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
This Cookies Policy explains how ELSSKA LLC (“Elsska,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on elsska.com (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information and the privacy rights you may have.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device and remember information about your visit.
We and our partners also use similar technologies, such as pixels (small pieces of code or images that record when a page is viewed or an action is taken), tags, scripts, and local storage. In this policy, we refer to all of these as “cookies.”
- First-party cookies are set by us.
- Third-party cookies are set by other companies, such as analytics and advertising partners, whose services we use on the Site.
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
| Category | What they do | Examples | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the Site to work, such as keeping items in your cart, processing checkout, keeping you logged in, remembering your cookie choices, and protecting against fraud and security threats. These cannot be turned off in our cookie settings. | WooCommerce cart and session cookies (e.g., woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_), WordPress login cookies, payment processor security cookies | Session to 2 days; login cookies up to 14 days if you choose “Remember Me” |
| Functional | Remember your preferences and provide enhanced features, such as your wishlist, recently viewed products, and display settings. | Wishlist and compare features, display preference cookies | Up to 1 year |
| Analytics (performance) | Help us understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are visited and how long visitors stay, so we can improve it. These cookies collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed. | Google Analytics (e.g., _ga, _ga_*) | Up to 2 years |
| Advertising (targeting) | Used by us and our advertising partners to show you ads for our products on other websites and social media, limit how often you see an ad, and measure how well our ads perform. They may track your browsing across different websites over time. | Advertising and social media pixels and cookies that we may use, such as those provided by Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, or Pinterest | Up to 2 years |
The specific cookies on the Site may change over time as we add or remove features and service providers.
3. Cookies, Targeted Advertising, and Your Privacy Rights
Under some U.S. state privacy laws, including California’s, the use of advertising cookies to show you ads based on your activity across websites may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information or “targeted advertising.” You have the right to opt out. You can do so by:
- turning off Analytics and Advertising cookies in our cookie settings, available through the cookie banner or the cookie settings link at the bottom of the Site;
- enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser. Where required by law, we treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising for that browser; or
- emailing info@elsska.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.”
See our Privacy Policy for more information about your rights.
4. Your Other Choices
- Browser settings: most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies. Please refer to your browser’s help menu. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Site, such as the shopping cart and checkout, may not work.
- Industry opt-out tools: you can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).
- Google: you can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) and manage Google ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com.
- Social media platforms: you can manage ad preferences in your account settings on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Mobile devices: you can limit ad tracking in your device’s privacy settings.
Opting out of interest-based advertising does not mean you will stop seeing ads. It means the ads you see may be less relevant to you. Opt-outs set through cookies apply only to the browser and device you use, and may need to be set again if you clear your cookies.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) setting. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, the Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. We do recognize the Global Privacy Control signal as described in Section 3.
6. Changes to This Cookies Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
